Upgradations :

In the field of Information Technology, innovations are so quick that by the time you have bought your PC and its utility justified, it is already an old product in the market.
Interestingly however, the components of the PC are designed such that you can always add-on or replace a component to the system (as long as the basic system itself is not obsolete).

Depending on the system configurations, we undertake upgrades of your existing PC systems and LANs.
The cost to upgrade depends entirely on your system configuration and your choice of hardware component for upgrade.

We may in certain cases buy-back systems should you prefer a completely new configuration. Again the price at which we buy-back would depend on the configuration, functional value and the condition of your old system.

The following are a few options for you to consider for upgrades :

Storage Capacity Upgrade : You may upgrade your hard disk drives if you feel a crunch in space with your existing drive capacity. Currently the minimum hard disk capacity if you are considering an upgrade should be 160GB; again depending on your requirement, you may opt for higher capacities. As at the time of writing this article, 2TB (2000GB) Hard Disks have just been launched!

Memory Upgrade : For all users  out there who still are getting the juice out of your old systems: With Microsoft Windows 9x Operating Systems, the minimum RAM requirement is 16MB, however this is not sufficient for all applications to perfom. You may upgrade the RAM to 128MB which is considered good, to upto 512MB RAM considering your future need. With Microsoft Windows XP/2003, your minimum RAM should be 256MB for all functional purposes and ideally atleast 1GB. Windows Vista is a memory hog and specifies minimum requirement as 512MB but believe us it takes 2GB atleast to deliver what it promises! So ideally a 2GB RAM would not hurt in the long run.

CPU + Mainboard Upgrade : If you are still using the x86 processors, it's high time to upgrade to a minimum Celeron processors. It does not cost much. However you need to change you mainboard and your RAM too for this upgrade because the RAM used on x86 boards is much slower and not supported on the newer faster boards. In fact users of old Pentium IV HT processors also should ideally switch over to atleast a Pentium Dual Core Processor to know what they are missing in terms of functionality and efficiency.

CD-ROM Drive Upgrade : Currently we ship new machines with a minimum 20x speed DVD Writer Drive. In case you are using a CDROM Drive and/or a DVD/CDRW Combo drive having speeds lower than 24x, you could consider this upgrade. To add value, you may consider the DVD Writers with Lightscribe technology (though enough lightscribe media is not yet available). A future upgrade should definitely be a Blu-Ray Drive/Writer.

Other than the above, you may opt to purchase a brand new computer system as it does not cost a lot these days. Also depending on your old system configuration and its physical and functional condition we may arrange a buy-back of the same if you decide to purchase a new system from us.
